Tom, PLEASE answer this question, PLEASE! Do you have any idea why Ares is being portrayed as so weak in Marvel comics? One would assume that as the God of War he should be Thor's and Hercules' equal, but strength and probably also durability-wise he is just so much below them! The bios have him rated as a 75 tonner, which is less than the Thing, Colossus and some others. He even has less durability, but thankfully a healing factor. SHOULDN'T he be a more powerful being by default?

The Ares we got in Dark Avengers, Incredible Hercules (briefly) and the two miniseries was always interesting to read about.
Marvel Heaven has a revolving door. Hopefully Marvel Hades has as well… :-)
